QR Menu in Chinese, Arabic and Russian for Tourists
Which QR menu shows Chinese, Arabic and Russian to tourists? What each language looks like on the guest’s phone, how guests switch, and what you set up.
doXmenu is a QR menu that shows Chinese, Arabic and Russian to tourists, among 24 menu languages, on the same QR code. Simplified and Traditional Chinese are both menu languages, Arabic is laid out right to left, and Russian is a menu language too. The guest scans once, taps a language and the menu changes where they stand. Translation is automatic and every line can be corrected by hand.
Which languages does a tourist get?
| Language | What the guest sees |
|---|---|
| Chinese | Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, two separate menu languages, both with automatic translation the owner can correct |
| Arabic | The whole layout mirrors: text starts from the right and the menu is written in Arabic letters. Prices stay the way the owner typed them |
| Russian | A Russian menu in Cyrillic; Latin letters also find Cyrillic dish names in search, so a guest typing “salata” finds “салата” |
The other 20 are on the same code, among them English, German, Italian, Turkish, Spanish, French and Dutch. See the multilingual menu guide for how to choose which to switch on.
How does a tourist switch language?
The guest scans the QR code with the phone camera, with no app to install, and picks a language. The words change in place: the page does not reload, and the guest stays at the same dish and the same scroll position. Allergens are shown by name in the chosen language, from the 14 EU allergens you mark on each dish.
What do you set up?
- Build the menu in your own language. Type it in, or import it from a photo of the paper menu.
- Switch on the languages. Choose Chinese, Arabic and Russian among the 24 menu languages. doXmenu translates automatically.
- Correct what matters. A line you write by hand is never overwritten by the translation, so you can fix a dish name once and it stays fixed.
- Print the QR code. One code serves every language.
What does it cost?
Every language is included in every plan: 12.99€ a month billed yearly, 13.99€ a month billed every 6 months or 14.99€ month to month. The first month is free and no card is needed.
